ELIJAH

ELIJAH THE TISHBITE  

Elijah is a name that comes up often in prophecy circles.  

Elijah is thought to be a type of Christ.

Jesus said that John the Baptist IS Elijah,

"if you will receive it".  

It is said that Elijah must come

before the great and terrible Day of the Lord

(probably fulfilled at the crucifixion).  

Some, with the tiniest amount of evidence possible,

believe that he is one of the two witnesses

spoken of in the Book of Revelation.  

Whatever you care to believe,

one way or the other,

I will ALWAYS recommend

that you start with the facts.  

Here it is this little bit of text.  

A series of stories.  

For, that is, after all,

everything we actually know about him.

My advice is to use EXTREME caution

when listening to religious sales people,

especially the end time crowd.  

Because they can be seen

to build very large edifices

on a VERY shaky,

and mostly imaginary,

foundation,

indeed.
